No, you won’t be charged any extract for making payment with a debit or credit card.  However, you will need to make sure that you have sufficient funds available, as your bank or credit card provider may charge you for not having sufficient funds.   You will need to make sure you have sufficient funds in your account every 30 days when payment is due.

Please be aware that if you pay using a card for the first time, EE may contact your bank or credit card provider to verify your card. On occasions, there will be a hold of £1 for this verification which will lapse within 10 working days.

Is this a contract or a Direct Debit?

Neither. You can cancel your Flex plan anytime.

The great think about the Flexsimba EE Flex SIM deal is that there is NO contract and your top-up lasts a whole month!

Having No contract means you can adjust how you manage your mobile phone usage to suit you.  One month you can spend just £10 and get unlimited texts, 1,000 minutes and 3 GB of mobile data, the next spend £25 and get unlimited texts, 3,000 minutes and 10GB of mobile data.

With the EE Flex Sim offer if you did get 10GB of data and only used 6GB it’s not lost; it will just be carried over to the following month.

Are Flex plans monthly plans?

Yes! All EE Flex Simple Plans are based on 30 days – which is essentially every month.  However, this means that there is no fixed monthly date that your card payment is due.  EE will always let you know the day before your next payment is due.

How do I manage my Flex plan?

Once you have received your Flex Sim card in the post and you have activated it, everything can be managed in the in My EE section of the EE website:

  • check your allowances
  • manage your payments
  • change your plan
  • buy data and add-ons
  • check your Free Data Boosts

Do I need a credit or debit card to pay for my Flex plan?

Yes, you can only pay for a Flex plan with a debit or credit card, you will need to provide this information when you activate your card here.

What if my allowances run out before my plan renews?

If you’ve used some of your allowances before your plan renews, login in the My EE and buy an add-on to last until your next plan payment.

Alternatively, you may need to look at a new plan so you don’t run out.  Look carefully at your data usage and choose a new Flex plan in My EE, pay for it and start to use it immediately.

How does Data Rollover work?

Data Rollover means you won’t lose any unused data from your Flex plan. If you haven’t used all of your monthly data allowance, it will be added to the next one, so you get another chance to use it. If your next plan doesn’t start straight away, your leftover data will still be added so long as you start your next plan within seven days of your old plan ending.

How do Free Data Boosts work?

Every three months your Flex plan will get a Free Data Boost to use in the UK and while roaming in the EU. The longer you stay, the more you get: every three months we’ll boost your monthly data allowance by an extra 500MB – and you get that extra data from then on for free. So your allowance keeps growing and growing. All you have to do is claim your Free Data Boost every three months in My EE.

And the best thing? You can do it again and again and again. So the more plans you buy over time, the bigger your monthly allowances become.

Can I change my Flex plan?

Yes, you can change your Flex plan any time you want.  Unlike with contracts that tie you into a deal, you can decide each month how much or how little you want to spend on your mobile phone costs, with them starting at just £10.

Just log in to My EE and choose a new plan

How do I cancel my plan?

You can pause or stop your flex plan any time:

  • log in to My EE and go to Menu > Flex plans
  • then scroll down and tap the ‘Cancel Plan’ button
  • When you stop your plan it won’t renew, so you will be able to take a break and restart a new plan when you’re ready.

Once you’ve confirmed you want to stop your plan, no further payments will be made. You’ll be able to use the allowances you’ve paid for until your current plan period ends but you won’t be able to carry over any data allowance.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Yes, once registered and you’ve set up your card payments, you have 14 days (the cooling off period) after you have made your first payment in which to claim a refund.   Any claims will cancel any plans or add-ons you’ve requested, but you’ll still have to pay for any services you may have used during your cooling off period.

How long do Flex plans last?

All Flex plans last for 30 days before another payment is taken and EE will always let you know the day before any payment is due, as if payment isn’t taken you may not have access minutes, texts or data.

Can I keep my existing number?

Yes, you can.  When registering you Flex Sim with EE, make sure you have the PAC code from your old network, as you will need this to transfer your mobile number across to your new Flex Sim.

How can I keep track of my allowances?
